About CEV

Circular Economy Victoria is an independent not-for-profit organisation that works to catalyse bottom-up action in support of the transition towards a more circular economy in Victoria. We envision a World where all people can live within a safe and just space in balance with the Planet. Our mission helps realise this regenerative vision by empowering every Victorian to: experience their life through a circular lens; develop their own journey to circularity; activate their local circular ecosystems.

In support of our mission, CEV designs, develops, and delivers a variety of education, collaboration and action oriented programs. All programs are brought to life in a highly collaborative manner with a diverse and growing list of project partners.

Your role in the CEV team

We are looking for two engaged and passionate Circular Economy Interns to support our work catalysing and scaling the transition towards a more circular economy in Victoria.

As a Circular Economy Intern, you will learn how CEV works to bring people together to use the circular economy body of knowledge to solve some of the toughest challenges of our time. Through a 26 week program, you will be exposed to a variety of circular economy programs and research activities. You will be empowered to develop and apply your unique skillset in a way that adds value to both CEV, as well as the Victorian community.

You are a design or systems thinker with high levels of empathy. On the content level, you have a base understanding and high level of curiosity of the circular economy body of knowledge.

You are reliable and driven by a spirit of collaboration, constantly challenging yourself and others to innovate, while bringing quality to execution and delivery. You are practical and skilful, and eager to make an impact and scale it up.

This role requires no specific background and encourages everyone to apply.

What we offer you

For this role, we are offering an initial 6-month internship program on a part-time basis (10-15 hours a week), from August 2021. We offer in depth training in the circular economy to help you build a foundation for future leadership in the transition to a more circular economy. This is an awesome challenge for a passionate person that loves to learn continuously and take up responsibilities in a vibrant and talented team. Applicants from all parts of Victoria are welcome.

To apply please respond with a motivational letter and CV or LinkedIn profile. Applications close 5pm on Friday, 30 July 2021.
