CEV is an incorporated community association that is governed by a volunteer board. Our work is deliver by a paid executive team and a community of dedicated volunteers.

Our shared value proposition to CEV members is to empower each individual to take their own journey to circularity in a way that supports CEV's vision/mission and adds value to the CEV community.

Sean Trewick

Sean Trewick

CEO

Sean is an industrial engineer and community organiser. He has worked to build people focused strategies and lean driven operations for SME’s, multinationals and community groups in both Africa and Australia. Currently he is focused on helping to activate communities in his role as an Executive Director of Circular Economy Victoria.

 

Drawing inspiration from his roots in South Africa, Sean believes in the power of Ubuntu to unite people around a common goal. A systems thinker with high levels of empathy, he highlights the value and importance of every individual’s role within the transition towards a circular economy

Manon Agrissais

COO

Manon is a materials engineer passionate about using circular principles to bring about technical improvements to products. Her high levels of empathy add a strong human-centred design perspective to her work, which accelerate improvement initiatives.

 

Growing up in the French Caribbean with 77% of its territory classified as a natural reserve, Manon sees the world as an ecosystem in all its interconnectedness and complexity. She takes zoomed-out perspectives and likes to challenge any narrow-minded and short-term visions. As an Executive Director of CEV, Manon works to develop content and programs that are technically detailed and accessible to broad stakeholder groups.

Nicoletta Stecca

CE Program Officer

Nicoletta is an Italian fashion designergraduated from Marangoni Institute in Milanspecialised in product development and digital manufacturingNicolleta supports brands and emerging designers to create with circularity in mind from the early prototyping stages throughout all the product lifecycle

 

Drawing from shared value and circular economy principles she believes in business for good that can benefit people as well as the environmentHer contribution to the sustainable development of the fashion industry translates into her commitment as Vice-President and Founder of Italian not-for-profit Rén Collective and as a Executive Director at Circular Economy Victoria.

Caitlin Phillips-Peddlesden

CE Program Officer 

Caitlin has a Masters in International Development, and comes to Circular Economy Victoria via the international development/non-profit sector, where she specialised in facilitating strategic, co-designed and locally-led planning, implementation, reporting, and evaluation processes. Caitlin has experience in the various phases of social change and complex project management, having worked and lived in the Pacific, Central America, and with and for Australian First Nations communities and groups. She is literate across public, not-for-profit, government and social impact sectors.

 

Taking inspiration from her childhood where she learnt to Reduce-Re-use-Recycle from birth, Caitlin draws on regenerative principles and traditional knowledge stewardship in support of community-led design. She is passionate about supporting groups and communities to build their capacity to develop solutions and take action toward greater environmental and social impact, and believes in a return to seeing ourselves as embedded within and part of natural ecosystems.
